Find out which minimum is limiting the order
Ask whether the quoted minimum is per style, per colour, per fabric or per order. For illustration, 240 units across four styles and three colours can leave only 20 units in each style-colour combination. That arithmetic may matter more to a supplier than the collection total.
Change one requirement at a time
If a quote does not fit, ask about using available fabric, reducing the number of colours or keeping the same trim across styles. Compare the resulting appearance and specification as well as the minimum quantity. A smaller order is useful only if the product still suits your customer.
Include development costs in the decision
A small run still needs decisions about patterns, samples, decoration and packaging. Request those costs separately and estimate the cash required for the full project. If an acceptable specification cannot be sourced at your quantity and budget, the next step may be to revise the range before sampling.

Does low MOQ mean a lower total unit cost?
Not necessarily. Compare the supplier's actual quote, including separately charged development and setup work.
